Necochea

Necochea is a Argentina city located on the Atlantic coast to 511 kilometers of Capital Federal, owes its name to General Mariano Necochea, Argentine military who participated in the war of independence. The main attraction of the city of Necochea are its beaches, characterised by its soft decline and wide extension, with a length of more than 64 km and a width which reaches 300 meters in some sectors, this makes the city to be chosen every year by thousands of tourists to spend their holidays. Another of its natural attractions is a park, boundary to the sea, called Miguel Lillo, is a forest reserve of 640 hectares parallel to the coast and its characteristics is unique in the country. Within the Lillo Park, we can find the Museum of Sciences Dr Jose Scuadrone, displaying stuffed specimens of the local fauna and the Regional Museum, where you can meet the city’s history, this works from the year 1981, and is divided into rooms where you can find ancient objects, vestments of era and works of art. The City, has the particularity of having two shopping centres, one that operates primarily in the winter, which is the most linked to its history and another that is located in the beach area and which was created later for tourist activity.
